What FindTunes Collects
FindTunes stores uploaded files, pasted video URLs, short audio samples, and song results only to identify songs, show your result, prevent abuse, and keep the service reliable. We do not require an account for the core song finder.
We may store IP address, country, browser user agent, timestamps, and basic usage events for rate limiting, fraud prevention, analytics, and security.
Uploads And Recording
Uploaded source files and audio samples are kept only as long as needed to process the search, operate the product, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot reliability issues.
The website records microphone audio only after you click Record / hum and allow microphone access. It does not record your screen, browsing history, or anything you did not choose to submit.
Payments, Ads, And Analytics
Payments are handled by Stripe. FindTunes does not store card numbers. We use PostHog to understand product usage and improve reliability.
FindTunes may show Google AdSense ads. Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to measure ads, prevent fraud, and personalize ads where allowed. Spotify and Apple Music links may open third-party services, and Apple Music links may include affiliate tracking where configured.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share data with service providers only when needed to run FindTunes, including Supabase for storage and database, ACRCloud for music recognition, Stripe for payments, PostHog for analytics, Google for ads, and hosting providers for deployment.
