How to find the song in an Instagram Reel
Check the audio label, search a Reel link, and find the right part when talking covers the music.

Open the song finderCheck whether the audio label names a song
Open the Reel and look for its audio label. A named track gives you an artist and title to check. Original audio usually identifies an uploader, not necessarily the person who made the background music. Open the audio page and read the caption before assuming the label is the song name.
A Reel can combine a voiceover, background music and a sound effect. Listen for the particular sound you want. If a song is credited in the caption, compare it with that section of the Reel.
Copy the Reel link
Use Instagram's sharing menu to copy the link, then paste it into the Reel song finder. Choose Find song. Keep the original Reel open so you can compare any result with the video.
A working link in your Instagram app does not guarantee another service can open it. Private posts, login requirements, deleted videos and access restrictions can prevent a link scan. FindTunes cannot unlock a private account.
Use a clearer section if needed
If you have a clip you are allowed to use, upload it and choose Trim. Select a passage where the music plays continuously and there is less speech. Avoid cutting down to a single beat or a brief sound effect.
You can also record music through your microphone. Headphones may prevent the microphone from hearing audio on the same device. If you cannot record clearly, uploading the clip is a better option than repeatedly trying the same blocked link.
Check the version, not just the title
Open an available listening link and compare the melody and vocals. An edited Reel may use a sped-up version, slowed recording, remix or sample. Recognition may identify the original song without identifying that exact edit.
If the original sounds right but the version differs, check the uploader's caption and comments for the edit name. Finding a song does not grant permission to reuse it in your own videos or advertisements.
